Food vendors must abide by new Texas state Cottage Laws if selling food products, click here for more information.
Please note that we are moving venues this year to the Malakoff Community Center and Park. A limited amount of vendor booths will be inside of the Community Center, and the majority of booths will be located behind the Community Center along the Malakoff Park.

7am: Vendor check in and setup begins
9am - 10am: Cornbread cookoff entries submitted to Community Center
9:30am: Festival begins
11am: Car Show judging starts
11:30am: Corn on the Cob eating contest on Main Stage
1pm: Cornbread Cookoff winners announced
2pm: Car Show winners announced

Important change this year! The cook-off is now only open to lake area restaurants and local cottage bakers.
Categories: Sweet and Savory
All recipes must have cornmeal as the primary ingredient.
You must attach a copy of your current Texas Food Handlers Certificate along with proper labeling including:
Producer’s Name and Physical Address
Common Name of the Product
List any of the nine major food allergens
Production Date
Full Recipe
Drop off entries at Malakoff Community Center (front door entrance) no later than 10am on Saturday, September 27th
We will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for each category!
